The Oregon State Elks Association (OSEA) gives out five $2,000 grants a year to Oregon residents pursuing a professional certificate or associate degree in a vocational or technical trade field, such as construction, IT, hospitality, criminal justice, or engineering technology. It's meant for students headed straight into that training, not as a stepping stone toward a four-year degree. No relation to an Elks member is required. Applications close March 1 each year. The 2026 cycle has closed; check OSEA's site for 2027 dates.
