Distinguished Regents Scholarship (Washington State University)

The Distinguished Regents Scholarship is Washington State University's most prestigious merit scholarship, covering full tuition and mandatory fees (up to 18 credits per semester) for four years at the Pullman campus. Each Washington high school may nominate its two most outstanding seniors, and about 10 Distinguished Regents Scholars are selected annually from that nominee pool based on academic achievement, community involvement, and an application essay. A student cannot apply on their own — the nomination has to come from their high school counselor.
