Students admitted to NDSU's Honors College (GPA 3.0+, ACT 30+ or SAT 1370+; up to 30 first-year students admitted per year) can receive up to $25,000 per year toward tuition, mandatory fees, textbook charges, housing, and a meal plan, applied each fall and spring for up to eight semesters. Other NDSU or state gift aid is applied first, with the Honors College Scholarship making up the difference toward the $25,000 cap. After applying to NDSU, eligible students must submit a separate scholarship application plus a supplemental Honors College application (opens Oct. 1, priority deadline Dec. 1) — the award is not automatic. Renewal requires full-time enrollment, passing grades in honors coursework, meeting participation requirements, and a 3.0+ cumulative GPA each semester.
DemographicsRequires admission to North Dakota State University and separate acceptance into the NDSU Honors College (GPA 3.0+, ACT 30+/SAT 1370+); awarded via a required scholarship application plus supplemental Honors College application, not automatically from admission alone.
