Rhode Island Credit Union awards up to five $1,000 scholarships each year to graduating Rhode Island high school seniors who are RICU members in good standing and are enrolling full-time in an undergraduate degree program. Immediate family members of RICU employees, board members, or Supervisory Committee members are not eligible. The application requires an official transcript and a typed essay of at least 250 words on the career the applicant plans to pursue, and the award must be used for tuition-related expenses. Applications are available online or at any Rhode Island Credit Union branch, with no application fee.
