Chick-fil-A's Community Scholars program awards thirteen $25,000 scholarships each year to students who have no connection to Chick-fil-A as an employee, Operator, or family member of either. Winners are chosen based on academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, and financial need, and join a one-year mentoring and leadership program alongside the company's Remarkable Futures scholars. The award can go toward tuition, fees, books, and other education costs at any accredited college, university, or vocational or technical school, and can be spread across up to six years of study.
