The Andy Grove Scholarship, funded by the Intel Foundation and administered by Scholarship America, is open only to the dependent children of current or retired Intel employees who are graduating high school seniors or current undergraduates enrolled at least half-time. U.S. recipients can receive up to $4,000 for a four-year university or $1,500 for a two-year/vocational program; the Foundation distributes roughly $1.25 million across the program each year, split evenly between merit-based and need-plus-merit-based awards. No more than 25% of applicants are funded.
