Lipsky/Whittaker Scholarship Fund

Youth Pride, Inc. awards $5,000 total each year through the Lipsky/Whittaker Scholarship Fund to one or more Rhode Island students. Applicants must be a Rhode Island high school graduate (or graduating in summer 2026) under age 24, enrolling full-time in post-secondary education, and must identify as LGBTQ+ or have been raised in an LGBTQ+ household, with a substantial history of activism supporting LGBTQ+ rights. The 2026 deadline has passed; check Youth Pride's site for the next cycle's dates.
