Freedom Alliance provides a partial-tuition grant, renewable for up to four total years, to children of U.S. service members who were killed in action or in a training accident, who suffered a qualifying combat- or training-related disability (including major limb amputation from enemy action or a 100% permanent disability rating), who are classified as POW/MIA, or whose parent received the Medal of Honor or an equivalent decoration. Applicants under 26 apply as high school seniors, graduates, or current undergraduates and submit a 500-word essay plus military and enrollment documentation. It is not a full ride; the covered amount depends on individual need and other financial aid already in place.
