EBCI Higher Education Program

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians' Higher Education Program provides ongoing financial assistance to enrolled EBCI members attending a regionally accredited college, university, or ACCSC-accredited technical school, funded through the Tribe's gaming-revenue Higher Education Funding Program. New students apply by set per-term deadlines, and continuing participants must stay in good standing, submit updated transcripts, and provide two scholarship submittals per year (a timely FAFSA Student Aid Report can count toward one). The funding policy is reissued annually, effective every August 1st.
