The Stamps Scholarship is the University of Miami's premier merit award, covering full cost of attendance (tuition, fees, housing, meal plan, health insurance, textbooks, and a laptop allowance) for eight semesters (ten for five-year programs), plus a $12,000 enrichment fund for study abroad, research, conferences, or unpaid internships. There is no separate scholarship application: all students admitted via Early Decision I or Early Action are automatically considered through holistic review. Semi-finalists are contacted for committee interviews by mid-January, finalists interview with the Stamps Foundation, and recipients are announced in early March. Scholars must maintain a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment (24+ credits/year).
