The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence names 100 Academic All-Staters each year from public high school seniors across the state, each receiving a $1,500 cash award along with recognition at an Academic Awards Celebration. Students self-nominate and qualify with a composite ACT of 30 or higher, a combined SAT (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing plus Math) of 1370 or higher from a single test date, or National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalist standing; beyond that threshold, an independent committee also weighs leadership, motivation, and character alongside two letters of recommendation. Applications for the 2027 Academic All-State class open October 7, 2026.
