Hamel Scholars Program (University of New Hampshire)

UNH's Hamel Scholars Program is a merit-based, need-aware scholarship for New Hampshire residents who apply Early Action and qualify for admission to the Honors College — qualifying applicants receive an automatic invitation to apply, generally between mid-December and early January, with decisions by late February or early March. Award amounts vary with financial need and renew at the same amount for up to eight semesters as long as the student stays in good standing. Scholars take part in required cocurricular programming and individualized leadership coaching alongside Honors College coursework.
