Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship (Vanderbilt University)

The Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship goes to students among the top 1% of first-year applicants to Vanderbilt who combine outstanding academic achievement with leadership outside the classroom. It covers full tuition for four years plus a one-time stipend for a summer study-abroad, research, or service experience following sophomore or junior year, and Vanderbilt adds need-based aid if demonstrated need exceeds tuition. The scholarship application is strongly encouraged (submitted via MyAppVU after the admission application), and preference goes to those who apply; the entire admission file plus the scholarship application are reviewed together.

Eligibility
