American Legion Auxiliary Department of Arizona Health Care Occupations Scholarship

The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Arizona awards $1,000 to a student pursuing a certificate or degree in a health care occupation, such as nursing assistant, dental assistant, LPN, lab technician, or physical therapy, at an accredited, tax-supported Arizona school. You'll submit a short narrative about your family and school activities and why you're choosing a health care career, plus three letters of reference and your transcript. Immediate family members of a veteran get first consideration, but you don't need any Legion connection to apply.
