The Boomer Esiason Foundation awards this scholarship to students living with cystic fibrosis who are enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program. Funds are released incrementally toward a maximum of $30,000 total for a four-year degree, or $45,000 for a graduate degree, paid directly to the school. Applicants must have a confirmed CF diagnosis and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. Review considers academic achievement, character, leadership, community service, and financial need; a long-form essay is optional and only needed to be considered for one of several named award designations.
