The Stamps Scholars Program is the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's most selective scholarship, open only to Illinois residents, covering the full cost of attendance plus up to $12,000 in enrichment funds for research, study abroad, leadership, and other opportunities across a student's undergraduate career. There's no separate scholarship application - a selection committee reviews Illinois admission applications for outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement, and semifinalists are invited to an on-campus interview in early spring before final selections are made. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment to keep the award for up to eight consecutive semesters (fall and spring only).
