Pfizer's Sickle Cell Scholarship Program awards four $5,000 scholarships to graduate students and 22 $2,500 scholarships to college and vocational students living with sickle cell disease (trait alone doesn't qualify, but recipients of a transplant or gene therapy may still apply). Eligible applicants live in the continental U.S. and are either a current high school senior, a recent high school or GED graduate, or accepted to or enrolled in a junior college, college, or vocational school. An independent board reviews essays, recommendations, and academic record.
