Horatio Alger Montana Scholarship

Funded by the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation and administered by the Horatio Alger Association, this program pays up to $15,000 over four years to Montana high school seniors who plan to attend a Montana University System school, demonstrate critical financial need (Pell-eligible families are strongly encouraged to apply), and have shown perseverance in overcoming adversity. Applications open each December 1 and are due February 15 for seniors; U.S. citizenship is required, and a 2.0 GPA must be maintained to keep the award.
