The Day of Pride Scholarship covers UConn's full direct and indirect cost of attendance for up to 20 Connecticut residents per year admitted to the Storrs campus, renewable for four years, weighing academic ability alongside leadership, community contributions, and documented financial need. It requires a supplemental application — due November 8, after the November 1 admissions application — with a minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA, class rank in the top 15% where available, test-optional (1170 SAT/24 ACT if submitted), and two letters of recommendation. Applicants may be considered for only one of UConn's Nutmeg, Day of Pride, or Stamps scholarships, not more than one.
