American Legion Auxiliary Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship

Open to graduating high school seniors who are direct descendants of a veteran who served during a recognized wartime period; membership in the American Legion Family is not required. Applicants must complete 50 hours of verified community service and submit an essay and two letters of recommendation. Fifteen $5,000 scholarships are awarded each year, three in each of the ALA's five national divisions.
