The Oregon Community Foundation runs one of the largest scholarship programs in the country for Oregon students: more than $13 million awarded across 3,400+ individual scholarships in 2024, with 48% going to students from rural communities. Students apply through either the OSAC common application (covering 500+ OCF-affiliated funds, at oregonstudentaid.gov) or OCF's own MyOCF portal; most funds share a March 2 deadline. Because it's really a collection of hundreds of separately-endowed funds, award amounts, GPA thresholds, and need/merit weighting vary widely by individual scholarship. Open to graduating Oregon high school seniors as well as current college students and adults returning to education.
Aggregate program total only: $13 million+ awarded across 3,400+ scholarships in 2024. Individual fund amounts vary widely and aren't published in one place.
