President John R. Park Scholarship (University of Utah)

The President John R. Park Scholarship is the University of Utah's highest automatic merit scholarship: $10,000 a year, renewable for up to four years, for incoming freshmen with a 4.0 high school GPA. There's no separate scholarship application or essay — every applicant is automatically considered for it (and Utah's other GPA-tiered merit awards, down to a 3.50 GPA tier) based on the transcript and GPA submitted with the regular Dec. 1 admission application.

Eligibility

DemographicsRequires admission to University of Utah; awarded automatically to applicants with a 4.0 high school GPA and no separate application. Not available to applicants from WUE-eligible states (who instead receive the WUE tuition rate) or to international students on a visa.
