Nebraska Promise covers full undergraduate tuition at any University of Nebraska campus (Lincoln, Omaha, Kearney, UNMC's undergraduate programs, or Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture) for Nebraska residents whose family adjusted gross income is $65,000 or less, or who are Pell Grant-eligible. It pays tuition for up to 15 credit hours per semester after other grants and scholarships are applied, but does not cover fees, books, or housing. There is no separate application — eligible students are identified automatically after filing the FAFSA by the university's priority deadline, and recipients must refile the FAFSA and maintain a 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment each year to keep the award.
