The Stamps President's Scholars Program is Georgia Tech's most prestigious scholarship, established in 2006 with support from the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation. It covers tuition, mandatory fees, housing, a meal plan, books and academic supplies, and personal expenses for four years, plus $12,000 over four years toward study abroad, unpaid internships, research, or conferences, an outdoor leadership trip freshman year, and a $1,100 first-year laptop stipend. Every applicant who applies for admission to Georgia Tech by the Early Action deadline is automatically considered — there's no separate scholarship application or additional materials. About 43,000 seniors apply each year; 425-450 semifinalists complete an asynchronous virtual interview, and roughly 150 finalists are invited to an on-campus Scholars Weekend, where they compete for either the Stamps President's Scholarship or Georgia Tech's Gold Scholarship. Admitted Stamps Scholars' SAT/ACT middle-50% typically runs 1470-1560 / 32-35, though there's no published minimum, and scholars must keep their declared major through at least the end of freshman spring term to retain the award.
