The Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture awards this $1,500 scholarship, paid directly to the institution, to two graduating high school seniors (or continuing undergraduates) each year enrolling full-time in a four-year college with a declared major in an insurance or agricultural field. The applicant or a parent/guardian must hold an active Missouri Farm Bureau membership, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, professor, community leader, or school administrator is required. The award may renew for up to three additional years if the recipient keeps a 3.0 GPA, stays in a qualifying major, and carries at least 12 credit hours per semester.
