Freshman Pegasus Award (University of Central Florida)

The Freshman Pegasus Award is UCF's flagship merit scholarship for incoming first-year students, offered to fewer than 20% of applicants. There's no separate application — every student who applies for admission is automatically considered. UCF no longer publishes a fixed dollar range for the award; the amount is set individually in each admitted student's official notification from Undergraduate Admissions. It's renewable for up to 8 fall/spring semesters as long as the student maintains a 3.0 UCF GPA (checked each spring) and enrolls in at least 12 credit hours each term.

Applying

UCF's current scholarship pages do not list a fixed dollar range for Florida residents or non-residents; the exact award depends on UCF's internal review and appears in the student's own award notification. Renewable up to 8 fall/spring terms with a 3.0 UCF GPA and 12+ credit hours per term; not available in summer.
