The Lilly Award is Wabash College's most prestigious scholarship, covering tuition, standard fees, on-campus housing, and food for all four years — a total value of more than $240,000. It is judged on character, creativity, and academic accomplishment, and applicants must meet at least one of three thresholds: a 3.5 GPA, a top-10% class rank, or an SAT of 1240+ (EBRW+Math) / ACT of 26+. A separate Lilly Award application is required alongside the admission application, including an essay, a resume, and a letter of recommendation, and finalists are interviewed on campus. Only three Lilly Scholars are named per incoming class.
DemographicsRequires admission to Wabash College; a separate Lilly Award application and finalist interview are required — this is not automatic.
