New Jersey Caddie Scholarship Foundation

Run by NJ Golf, the Caddie Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $21 million across 3,900+ scholarships to New Jersey caddies since 1947. For the 2026-27 academic year it is providing 190 caddies over $1 million combined (about $5,260 per scholar on average); the prior year's 190 scholars attended 93 different colleges. Awards are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Selection is based on academic performance, financial need, and length/quality of caddying service — applicants need at least two seasons caddying at a participating NJ Golf member club, plus a manager recommendation, tax documents, and (for high school seniors) a transcript. No essay or interview is required.
