Founded by Colorado cable-TV pioneer Bill Daniels, the Daniels Fund Scholarship Program covers a large share of college costs for graduating seniors in its four-state region who combine solid academics with real financial need. Recipients at Daniels Fund partner schools can receive up to the full cost of attendance; those at other schools within the four-state region can receive up to $7,500 per year, and those at schools outside the region up to $25,000 per year. The scholarship renews annually for up to four years as long as the student stays in good standing, and semi-finalists submit an essay and letters of recommendation as part of the review.
DemographicsMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a resident of CO, NM, UT, or WY; household AGI of $100,000 or less (plus $10,000 per additional dependent) is used to assess need.
Awards at Daniels Fund partner colleges can cover the full cost of attendance. This range reflects non-partner schools: up to $7,500/year within the 4-state region, up to $25,000/year outside it.
