The NJCPA Scholarship Fund gives $1,500 one-year scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors planning to major in accounting (or a concentration of at least 24 accounting credits) at a two- or four-year school. Applicants need at least a 3.2 GPA or a 1260 SAT / 26 ACT composite, and submit a 450-500 word essay on what drew them to accounting, transcripts via their guidance counselor, and test scores; finalists complete a virtual interview. Additional Deloitte Foundation-funded awards at the same $1,500 level are available to other qualified high school applicants.
