Presidential Scholarship (University of Alabama at Birmingham)

UAB automatically awards the Presidential Scholarship to admitted Alabama residents who score 30-36 on the ACT (or 1360-1600 on the SAT) with a 3.5 or higher GPA — no separate application needed. The award is worth $12,000 per year, renewable for four years, and can be combined with other UAB scholarships and outside aid.
