Academic Excellence Scholarship (University of Texas at Dallas)

UT Dallas automatically reviews every incoming freshman who completes their admission application by the December 1 priority deadline for an Academic Excellence Scholarship — no separate scholarship application is required. Award criteria and dollar amounts reset each incoming class based on the applicant pool, but funding can last up to eight semesters (four years) for renewing recipients. Students who land in the top academic tenth of their entering class and receive an AES offer become eligible to apply separately for the university's most selective award, the Eugene McDermott Scholars Program.
