Charter Oak Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program

Charter Oak Federal Credit Union awards at least one $2,000 scholarship to every high school with 100 or more students in New London and Windham counties, plus two additional employee-funded Community Outreach awards, totaling about $100,000 a year. Selection favors students who have made a real difference through extracurricular activities, individual community outreach, and involvement in community programs, rather than academic ranking alone. The program is also open to current college students, and credit union membership is not required to apply.
