New Jersey Bernard Kilgore Memorial Scholarship

The New Jersey Press Foundation awards this $5,000 scholarship to a graduating New Jersey high school senior planning to study journalism or media and pursue a media career. The winner is also named the Garden State Scholastic Press Association's New Jersey High School Journalist of the Year and moves on to a national competition. Applicants need at least a 3.0 GPA, two years of high school journalism experience, a portfolio of published work, and several letters of recommendation.
