Coronat Scholars is Syracuse University's premier merit scholarship for incoming first-year students admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences or the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. It covers full tuition for four years (five for approved five-year programs), plus funding for one international study opportunity, a funded summer opportunity, and automatic admission to the Renée Crown University Honors Program. Every applicant to those colleges is automatically considered through the standard admission application; roughly 200 are invited by email each January to submit a written Coronat application, and about 40 of those are then invited to a Zoom interview in early spring. Renewal requires a 3.0 cumulative GPA and staying enrolled in Arts and Sciences or Maxwell.
