The Navy Wives Clubs of America (NWCA) Scholarship Foundation awards up to 31 scholarships each year to the biological, adopted, or stepchild of an active-duty, retired-with-pay, or deceased enlisted (E1-E9) member of the Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard who holds a valid military dependent ID card. Applicants need a 2.5 GPA, must demonstrate financial need, and must have graduated high school (or equivalent) or be about to. The foundation does not publish a fixed dollar amount for this fund (a separate, smaller NWCA member's fund pays $1,000-$1,500, but has different eligibility -- NWCA membership or spouse status -- and is not this fund). Applications and transcripts are submitted by mail or email, due March 31.
