The Modeling the Future Challenge, run by The Actuarial Foundation, has teams of 1-5 U.S. high school students taking a junior- or senior-level math course (statistics, probability, pre-calculus, calculus, or similar) research real-world data and build a risk-management model for a partner organization. Registration and participation are free, and winning teams share $55,000 in scholarship prizes at the National Symposium.
