Ohio ProStart Scholarship Program

The Hospitality Institute of Ohio awards scholarships to graduating Ohio ProStart seniors who have earned, or will earn, the program's Certificate of Achievement and plan to study culinary arts, hospitality, or foodservice management after high school. A student can be considered for more than one named scholarship on a single application. Awards are presented at the annual Celebration of the Stars banquet, which selected students must attend.

DemographicsMust be a graduating Ohio ProStart senior (or ProStart alumnus/alumna) who has earned, or will earn, the program's Certificate of Achievement and plans to continue into a related culinary, hospitality, or foodservice program after high school; open statewide to ProStart students at any participating Ohio high school. No membership fee to apply.

Applying

Multiple named scholarships can be awarded to a single student on one shared application; the program distributes up to $50,000 statewide each year.
