The BBB Center for Ethics awards six $5,000 scholarships each year to high school seniors across its 22-county Cincinnati-area service area, spanning southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana. Winners are chosen entirely on an ethics-themed essay — the program doesn't factor in grades or extracurriculars — judged first by BBB staff and then by an independent panel of business and community leaders. You just need to be at least 13, a current high school senior, planning to continue on to an accredited college, university, or vocational school, and not the child or sibling of a BBB employee or board member.
DemographicsOpen to high school seniors at least 13 years old living in BBB Cincinnati's 22-county service area (parts of southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana); not open to the child or sibling of a BBB employee, BBB Center for Ethics board member, or BBB board member.
