Doyon Foundation's Competitive Award funds degree-seeking students who are Doyon, Limited shareholders or the children of a shareholder, an Alaska Native regional corporation covering Alaska's Interior. Applicants must be accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational school and enrolled full-time, with a minimum 2.0 GPA; an independent committee selects recipients through a scored review. The May 15 annual deadline is for funding beginning that fall, so a graduating high school senior who has already been accepted to college can apply before graduation.
