Louisiana Grand Lodge Masonic Home Education Foundation Scholarship

The Grand Lodge of Louisiana's Masonic Home Educational Foundation awards college scholarships to Louisiana residents under 25 who've been accepted to an accredited Louisiana university or college, including incoming freshmen straight out of high school. Applications run each December through February and ask for your transcript, a financial statement, and four reference letters — two of them from Louisiana Masons in good standing. A family tie to Freemasonry helps but isn't required, and the award amount is set case-by-case by the foundation's Grant Committee based on need.

Eligibility

DemographicsOpen to any Louisiana resident under 25 accepted to an accredited Louisiana college; preference (not a requirement) goes to those with a Louisiana Mason in the family, and there is no fee to apply.
