The Presidential Fellows Scholarship is Miami University's top merit award: a full ride covering tuition, fees, housing, and food, plus a $5,000 academic enrichment stipend each year, for just fifteen incoming Honors College students annually. There's no separate scholarship form — students opt in to Presidential Fellows consideration on Miami's regular admission application by the Dec. 1 priority deadline, then go through an additional faculty review and interview. Starting with the fall 2027 entering class, applicants must also submit self-reported ACT or SAT scores to be considered, a new requirement since Miami is otherwise test-optional; Miami will reach out to opted-in applicants who haven't yet provided scores so they can add them before Dec. 1.
