The Paradigm Challenge asks kids and teens worldwide to design a real solution to an assigned real-world problem, judged in three age divisions (4-8, 9-13, and 14-18 — the last being the high-school bracket). Corrected from the original listing: the official rules set no minimum team size (solo entries are explicitly allowed); a full 4-person team can win the full $10,000/$2,000/$1,000 division prizes, while smaller teams receive a prorated 25%-per-member share instead. One division 1st-place team is separately selected to receive a $100,000 Grand Prize (paid instead of, not on top of, the $10,000). No purchase or fee is required to enter.
DemographicsOpen worldwide (standard U.S.-sanctioned-country exclusions apply), ages 4-18; Division 3 (ages 14-18) is the high-school bracket. Free to enter, no purchase necessary.
