American Legion Department of Maine Children and Youth Scholarships

The American Legion Department of Maine awards six $500 scholarships each year through its Children and Youth Scholarship fund. The only stated eligibility requirement is demonstrated financial need - you don't need a parent or grandparent who served, or a Legion membership, to apply. Applications are due May 1 and are available as a downloadable form on the Department's website.
