Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest

Since 2001, Duck Brand's Stuck at Prom contest has awarded scholarships to high schoolers who design prom dresses and tuxedos out of Duck Tape brand duct tape. Two $10,000 grand prizes (one dress, one tux) go to the entries with the most public votes among finalists chosen by judges on workmanship, originality, and tape use, with additional $1,000 and $250 runner-up and category awards. The 2026 contest ran March 25-June 3, 2026 with judging/voting continuing afterward. There is no entry fee, and the total prize pool is $32,800.

Eligibility

DemographicsMust be at least 14 years old and enrolled in high school (or a home-school program at the high-school level) during the 2025-26 school year; open to legal residents of the US (incl. DC & Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec), but not to residents of Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, or North Dakota. No entry fee. Prior Stuck at Prom finalists/winners are ineligible to re-enter
