The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship provides up to $55,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, as last-dollar funding after all other financial aid, for high-achieving high school seniors with financial need. Eligibility requires a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.75, family adjusted gross income considered up to $95,000, and intent to enroll full-time in an accredited 4-year college; homeschooled students are eligible, but GED holders, gap-year students, and students already enrolled in a bachelor's program are not. In April 2026, 60 new College Scholars were selected through an application (via Common App) that requires standardized test scores, several short essays, two academic teacher recommendations, and one counselor recommendation. The 2026-27 application is open, closing November 11, 2026, with no application fee.
