GBHEM General Scholarship

The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) of The United Methodist Church awards scholarships to incoming college first-year students through graduate students who are active, full members of a United Methodist congregation. Applicants need at least a 2.5 GPA and at least one year of church membership, and may reapply annually for up to seven years while working toward a degree. The application portal opens each January and closes March 6, with supporting documents due April 7.
