Quill and Scroll Student Scholarships

Quill and Scroll awards three named scholarships to graduating seniors: the Edward J. Nell Memorial and George and Ophelia Gallup awards, open to national winners of the Yearbook Excellence Contest or the International Writing, Photography and Multimedia Contest, and the Richard P. Johns Award, open to any Quill and Scroll senior regardless of contest entry. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room, and board at any college or university offering a major in journalism or a related communications field; award amounts are set by the scholarship committee based on each applicant's qualifications and recommendations.
