Presidential Scholarship Initiative (Virginia Tech)

The Presidential Scholarship Initiative (PSI) is Virginia Tech's flagship access scholarship for Virginia high school seniors, weighing academic strength alongside financial need, first-generation status, and Pell Grant eligibility. There's no separate application — submitting the FAFSA and General Scholarship Application by the priority deadline automatically puts a student in consideration. Recipients get ongoing mentoring and support from a dedicated PSI team through all four years, and some graduate debt-free.
