Kansas State Masonic Public School Essay Contest

Any junior or senior at a Kansas tax-supported public high school can enter this Masonic-sponsored essay contest by writing a 300-500 word essay on an assigned topic. Winners split $12,000: $4,000 for first place down to $1,000 for fourth place, plus four $500 honorable mentions. Essays are submitted to a local Masonic Lodge first, which forwards the winning entry to the Grand Lodge of Kansas for the statewide round -- no Masonic connection is required to enter.
